Error. Missing PDFMaker files

(This issue occurred when I reloaded Acrobat 8.1after a computer crash)

Missing PDFMaker Files

Ask if I want to run in installer repair mode

click yes and restart computer nothing really happens - get smae message when I try to create the pdf.

I've contacted chat support and they can't help me - sent me here...

Are you referring to missing 'PDFMaker' in Word?

Have you tried repairing the install?

  • From the Help Menu, choose Repair Installation.

Also please refer to the following document to see some things you can do to troubleshoot PDFMaker issues for Microsoft Office.

If the above doesn't help, please reply again, and provide as much information as possible, so it's easier to try and help you out:

  • What operating system are you using (windows/Mac)
  • What version of the operating system (e.g. Windows 10)
  • What version of Microsoft Office are you using.
  • Any other information, or screenshots of issues you are seeing.
