Excel numbers incorrect after converting to PDF

Hello, 

Weird and new issue to me. The user has an excel document. This user has been updating numbers and saving the excel file. The Excel file has an updated number. The number is plain general, with no formula in the cell. The user saves the excel sheet, and data is saved on that excel sheet. However, when the user creates a pdf file from the excel sheet using Save as Adobe (as usual) the converted PDF shows old data. Any idea what causes the issue? We created a completely new excel file to a different location and converted the file still shows the old number instead of the updated ones.
