What is your solution?
Hi Abambo,
This will be lengthy, the fillable form I’ve been using was created in Designer years ago and unknown to me Designer files and Acrobat files don’t work well together. This is how its done; I opened the file in Acrobat Pro DC and using the left panel I opened the ‘Page Thumbnail’ then ‘Extract Page’ and in the open dialog box checked the ‘Extract Pages to a Separate File’, Click ‘OK’ then save this with the same file name at the same location as the original. Now when this converted file is opened it reacts as a true Acrobat file. Unfortunately, the extensive formatting I used in the LiveCycle program has been removed. On the bright side I now have a form, anyone can open in Reader, fill in the blanks and save it to their computer! Solved! No need to create Reader Usage Rights anymore.
Going back 15 years or so, when I created fillable forms, LiveCycle Designer was my go-to software.
