Version: Acrobat Pro DC Ver 2020.006.20034
Hi All,
My Acrobat Version is stated as above. Whenever I try to copy, cut, move, paste or rename the PDF file in Windows 10 Pro, the computer will take very long to process. I am talking about small file sizes like 150kb and maximum 3mb. This is reflected in:
Are there some setting that I can twist and configure so that the PDF handling can behave normally? Please note the actual copy/paste speed has no issue once the copy/paste process started. It is just that the computer gets stuck in the PRE - copy/paste processes.
I have searched through the internet but could not find someone experiencing the similar issue. People mainly experience slow read/write speed while copying.
This is so frustrating and please advise if you have any idea/solution for this.
Many thanks.

Hi there
We are sorry for the delay in response. As the issue still persists ,
Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.
Is the file located on a shared network drive? If yes please try to download the file locally to the computer and try again.
You may also try to turn off the protected mode for testing. Go to Edit > Preferences > Enhanced Security > Turn off the Protected Mode and Uncheck the Enhanced Security > Click OK and reboot the application.
If it still doesn't work , please try the following steps:
Let us know how it goes.
