Failure to extend maintenance on Acrobat

The maintenace contract on Acrobat ran out and I went through the process of extending it, includine payment in full.  But I still get a note that I need to extend maintenance every time I use the app.  What gives?

I'm not familiar with (and very skeptical) about an Adobe Maintenance Contract.  I'd be very cautions about this.

The puzzle is that Acrobat does not have maintenance. It has a subscription. This is why I asked for a screen shot of the message, so we can figure out what is going on.

 

I wonder if you can share the email you were communicating with, when you got the new activation code? This may help us understand who you were dealing with.

I received a URL to download a new version of Adobe with an activation code.  I replaced my version with the new one, but was unable to activate it.  I was sent yet another code, but that also failed.  Now, after paying for the extension of maintenance in full, I no longer have a working version of actobat which I had before all this started.  I sent two messages to this effect with no reply other than this question about how satisfied I am.  Guess...
