Hello:

I just purchased a new Brother MFC-J5830DW.  I have Adobe Arcobat Pro.  It does not recognize the feeder.  please help

Please share the OS version and scanner driver you are using.

There should be an option to select document feeder before scanning starts.

Please share the scanner model number and name of driver, you selected in Acrobat Window. It would be great if you can share the screenshots of scanner dialogs.

If You are using Twain driver(downloaded from Fujitsu's site), it should automatically detect feeder if there are papers inserted.

If you are using WIA driver(Direct Plug and play driver of scanner), there must be a menu item, where you can select Document feeder.
