Fill & Sign in Acrobat Pro is Missing

Summary: Fill & Sign is missing from Acrobat Pro and nothing seems to help. Please help me have that basic feature.

Problem description: I noticed I had Acrobat Pro 32-bit instead of 64-bit. I uninstalled it and downloaded Acrobat Pro 64-bit. Fill & Sign has vanished and I no longer can fill PDF documents nor sign them. There is no tab for E-sign and Fill & Sing is nowhere to be found in Acrobat Pro menus and tools search, but can only be found in the Costumize Toolbars menu where nothing can be done with them.

Process of trying to solve the problem:

Following the help on this Adobe help page:

  • I made sure that Acrobat Pro is up to date.
  • I changed the language to "Same as the operating system" and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I deleted my prefrences both from app data and from the registry and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I uninstalled Acrobat Pro, used the Acrobat Cleaner Tool, and reinstalled the Acrobat Pro from here.
  • I made sure there are no updates, changed the language to "Same as the operating system" and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I uninstalled the Pro version and installed the standard one.
  • I made sure there are no updates, changed the language to "Same as the operating system" and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I uninstalled the standard one and installed the 32-bit one.
  • I made sure there are no updates, changed the language to "Same as the operating system" and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I uninstalled the 32-bit one and installed the one from Adobe Cloud.
  • I made sure there are no updates, changed the language to "Same as the operating system" and relaunched Acrobat Pro.
  • I tried even chatting with an agent on Adobe website. He closed the chat before I could tell him that there was another update and that it didn't change a thing.

Result: Fill & Sign is still missing.

Computer info:

  • Windows 10 22H2 (up to date)
  • intel i7-8550U
  • intel UHD 620 (up to date) + NVIDIA GeForce940MX (up to date)
  • Acrobat Pro version: 2024.001.20643

PLEASE help.

I have to install Adobe Pro 64-bit quite a bit for my job and everytime E-Sign is missing.

Soultion for me is:

  • Go to Settings > Apps and press the 3 dots on Adobe Acrobat (64-bit).
  • Select Modify.
  • Select Next.
  • Make sure Modify is selected and press Next.
  • Open the + next to Languages and uninstall English with Arabic Support.
  • Select Install

Adobe will then uninstall the Language support and E-Sign will be back.  No idea why this is the case.

I followed these steps, but the Fill & sign icon still doesn't appear. Has anyone found the solution? thanks!

Revert the 64bit UI back to the old Acrobat UI.  This will restore the fill&sign tool

Thank you, Thom. I indeed forgot to mention that I tried this as well. I will edit the main post. I tried it again now, just in case. No fill & Sign to be found.

Bummer!  That is a mystery.  It is entirely possible there is an error in your version.
