Fill & Sign, Request E-sign Tool, & Sign Icon Cause Adobe to Crash

Hello,

Each time I try to use the Fill and Sign Tool, Request E-signature Tool, and the Signature icon, the Adobe application crashes. There is no error message. The issue is happening across all my Adobe files. 

 

I was able to use the tools and icon earlier today, and then the crashes started out of nowhere. I updated Adobe, and the crashes have continued.

 

I tried each troubleshooting step provided here: 

https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-crashes-on-windows-os.html. The crashes continue. 

 

Are there other troubleshooting options? Please help.

Thank you for reaching out to us on your concerns. Could you please update to the latest available version of Acrobat/Reader using "Help->Check for Updates" and see if issue gets fixed for you. ?

Please update the application to the latest version released today, which addresses the issue. Then, check if it resolves the crash issue for you.

In Acrobat, go to Help > Check for updates. You may also refer to the information on the following help page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

I deleted and re-installed the application yesterday as I was having this issue, it worked for a while but is crashing again today, no updates available.

Hello,

I have the same problem, when I want to sign Adobe freezes and closes.
If I use ADobe Web I can sign but the desktop app doesn't work

Same problem.  As soon as I click the Sign Document icon, the program freezes and then shuts down.

I am replying to myself with the solution I got from chatting with an Adobe agent:

 

Logout and re-login to the Acrobat pro application and check for the get started link as well, click on the link and then click on join team and re-login to the Acrobat Pro app and then try requesting for e-sign.
