fill and sign not appearing in floating tool bar?

Explorer ,
Feb 23, 2024 Feb 23, 2024

I have just installed Adobe DC Pro on a new computer, with Windows 11 Pro.

The fill and signature selection does not apper in the floating tool bar, even though its selected in the customisable area, see screen shots.

This is a completly new install on Windows 11 Pro Version 2023.008.20533 64bit

Can anyone advsie me on if there is a setting that needs selecting in preferences to get this to appear as I can now no longer add a signature to my documents as before?

Amal,

Thankyou for the response, I have now got this working correctly, I had issues with the removal tool as it was showning both English and Arabic, so after several attemps it installed correctly from the link.

Issue seems to be with the install from the cloud service rather than the direct link you provided.

Sorted for now, thank you for the help

Hi @ESHTechnical

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) > reboot the computer once and see if that works.

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and check.

Let us know how it goes.

Not sure why I'm repairing a fresh new install on a new machine, no preferences have been set yet?

I had already tried the suggested advice before posting as this did not work either?

I'm currently having to work between two machines as one has this option and the new machines doesn't?

I have done it again and the fill a sign still does not appear

Hi there

We are sorry to hear that.

To troubleshoot the issue effectively, we recommend creating a new test user profile on your Windows system with full admin rights. Once done, please use the application within this new profile and check if the problem persists.

Additionally, could you kindly gather the following logs for us:

1. Adobe CC logs: You can collect these by following the instructions provided at Adobe CC Log Collector.

2. Procmon logs (Windows Only): You can obtain these logs by referring to the guidelines outlined in the Adobe Acrobat Procmon tool.

After collecting the logs, please upload them to any cloud storage of your choice. Once uploaded, kindly generate a shareable link and provide it to us for further investigation.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, on another note for some reason when you try to remove Adobe in the remove programs it seems to revert to Arabic format.

the progression bar goes left to right and the text is in half English and half Arabic, this is getting a little irritating now

Since Acrobat DC from 2015, we understood that some of Acrobat's cloud options will disappear if Acrobat Language is set to Arabic.

After re-installing your Acrobat once Again, make sure you change Acrobat Language to English as shown here…

Thank you for the replay but the application language is English, never been set to arabic as I can't speak or read it.

For some reason when you use to adobe removal programme the window appeares with english discription, the progress bar goes from right to left and the Cancel, Retry and Ok selection buttons are in arabic.

I have through many attempts managed to now get this to display, my guess is that I eventually clicked the right arabic button to allow me to completly remove the adobe programme before reinstalling from the link provided above.

Hi there

We are sorry to keep you waiting.

Please update the application to the recent version 23.08.20555 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.

If the issue still occurs we would need the fresh Adobe CC and Procmon logs as you shared earlier.

With regards to Arabic Language being set as default Language for Acrobat, well, it is not necessarily that you specifically go and set the language to Arabic, it is the OS that influence Acrobat duirng installation to set a specific language apparently.

As I mentioned, many of whom I supported with the "Missing" Fill & Sign had their Acrobat defulat Language set to Languages other than English.

Appreciate the response, but Arabic was never selected in the OS so I'm not sure why the Adobe removal programme seems to display both english and arabic?

Seems to be an issue if the installation is done from the cloud service rather than the direct link given above by Amal?

thank you for the response all resloved now for the time being.
