Every professional using Acrobat needs the ability to check off comments that have been mentioned, and filter them so only unchecked ones are visible. It was a there and now it's gone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat, updated to the latest version, deleted my preference file. But that filter has disappeared. Please bring in back.

Hi @Marinka9170,
Please ensure your copy of Adobe Acrobat is installed with the latest update available. To confirm, launch Acrobat> Help > Check for Updates. Here is the help document that provides the information on the latest update patch available: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html
This issue has been fixed with the latest update, and it should work. This file, as well as any of the comments, has a checkmark applied to it.
Let us know if that works.

Try disabling the new (and buggy) Acrobat UI, via Menu - Disable New Acrobat.

Wher the F..K is the filter???? Does the updater also use and test this software??? Unbelievable. WE NEED THIS FUNCTION BACK. WE WORK WITH THIS SOFTWARE AND PAY FOR IT. WE ARE NOT A TESTING COMUNITY.

Hi @soujo1 ,
We have recently updated the UI for filters. The filter for checkmark is present in UI.
I am attaching a screenshot of the filter.
Please let me know if this resolves your query. If not, could you please share a small screen recording of your workflow so that we can understand and work on the problem.
Thanks.

The option for filtering by check box is missing. Last week it was not. Your screenshot shows what should be there, but I do not have any option between types and color for filtering.

I'm having the same issue. It happens in one file but not others.
I was editing the (embargoed) content so I could share the file, but the problem went away when I deleted some of the comments. Hope this helps you narrow down the issue.

Hi @Marinka9170,
If any of the comments in the list has a checkmark, then the option will appear.
It appears to be okay at our end. However, the option only appears if any of the comments have a checkmark.

Hi Tariq, thank you for your response. Unfortunately the filter option for the checkmark does not appear at my end.
See the blue checkmark on the right in the image below.

Thank you for the quick response, @Marinka9170!
Could you share a sample file showing the same behavior at your end? Also, if possible, please share a video showing the problem on your end. Since it is working on my end, the file and video will help me discuss this issue with the product team.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make things right.

I noticed in another PDF that the filter option indeed does appear after a checkmark is clicked, so it seems like it is this PDF specifically where it doesn't work.
Could it be because the comments are made in the form of adding text boxes on the page?

Hi @Marinka9170,
Thanks for sharing the details and the file. It seems related to the file. However, I am unaware of why this is happening. I will check internally with the team to see if there is something we can find.
The good part is this the issue is related to only this file.
