Fix: Adobe Acrobat Won’t Launch After Windows 11 24H2 Update

New Here ,

After installing the Windows 11 24H2 update (KB5055627), I encountered an issue where Adobe Acrobat 25.1 wouldn't open. The application appeared in Task Manager but didn't launch any window.

Solution:

Right-click the Acrobat shortcut and select Properties.

Navigate to the Compatibility tab.

Uncheck:

  • “Run this program in compatibility mode”

  • “Run this program as an administrator” (if selected)

Click Apply, then OK.

Launch Acrobat — it should now open normally.

This resolved the issue for me. I hope it helps others facing the same problem.
