Formatting problems when converting to Word document

I should have been more specific, what is happening is that the conversion engine is making a wider right margin and the text is returning to the next line without the hard return. It is simply continuous text. Therefore, when working with the MSWord document I have to edit the converted document and insert hard return manually. For a few instances it could easily be done, but there are several thousand instances to correct. Thanks for explaining to me how to fix the conversion engine (if possible at all) so the text is properly converted with hard return placed everywhere they are needed.
