It's possible, but you need to explain in more details what exactly you try to do?
To see fields fill color, you will have to turn off fields color highlight in preferences or set fields to read-only if they don't have to be manually filled.

Unfortunately, that doesn't tell us much, what is the connection between dropdown and checkboxes, do you wish to select a choice from dropdown and depending on the choice you wish to show a different color on the checkbox...etc? You need to explain this in more details for us to be able to help you, like field names, what choices should show what color, it would help if you can share your actual file.

Thanks for sharing the file. At the moment, I don’t see any actual form fields included, and it looks like there’s just one dropdown choice displayed but four separate fields, which makes things a little unclear. Could you describe what the dropdown options should be, and what the expected behavior is once someone selects one of them?

You can't use different colors for the different items in the drop-down, if that's what you mean.
You can change the fill color of the field once a selection is made, but it will affect all the items in it.
If you want to have unique colors populate the selected value from the drop-down to a text field, and there you could set its fill color accordingly.
