I'd like to create dropdown menues that provides different coloured backgrounds for editable text and checkboxes. Is this possible?

You can't use different colors for the different items in the drop-down, if that's what you mean.

You can change the fill color of the field once a selection is made, but it will affect all the items in it.
If you want to have unique colors populate the selected value from the drop-down to a text field, and there you could set its fill color accordingly.

It's possible, but you need to explain in more details what exactly you try to do?

To see fields fill color, you will have to turn off fields color highlight in preferences or set fields to read-only if they don't have to be manually filled.

Hi Nesa, thanks for your reply and thoughts.

I've attached a image of the three options I'm needing to create.

I need to know what program to use and the method to achieve these options.

Hope you can help:)

Unfortunately, that doesn't tell us much, what is the connection between dropdown and checkboxes, do you wish to select a choice from dropdown and depending on the choice you wish to show a different color on the checkbox...etc? You need to explain this in more details for us to be able to help you, like field names, what choices should show what color, it would help if you can share your actual file.
