In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC when creating forms - How can I make the ‘dropdown’ icon smaller – I have a narrow column to check yes or no (tick or X) or leave blank but the dropdown box takes up most of the space.
Can the size of the box be reduced? I have attached an image of what I need.
TIA
Heather

Hi,
The size of any field object can always be reduced or enlarged by changing the height and width of the field properties.
But From the image that you shared it looks that this view is normal when you have your document's page view zoomed out at 50%. The more you zoom out the page view the bigger certain icon element will appear.
Field properties for a button can be adjusted with a custom format javascript. But in your case, as Bernd_Alheit mentioned this is not possible with a combobox dropdown object.
Zoom in the page view of your document to 75% or above (preferably 125%).
You'll notice that the dropdown arrow icon will become narrower.
If you prefer, you can also set the Font size to "Auto".
Setting the font size to Auto will accomodate your slections in proportion with the combox dimesnions.
