Free trial Issues with software

I just signed up for free trial and downloaded the software. But when I tried to save a file, I get a message that I don't have the most current software. How can I not have the most current software when I just signed up and downloaded Adobe within the last 2 hours?

You don't need the latest version to save a file. Could you show us the exact text of the error message, and the window where it appears?

Thanks for your response. I have copied the error message below. Note that other people in my office who have Adobe are able to save/view/print this same document originating from the same sender without issue.

Are you sure you're viewing the file in Acrobat? Post a full-window screenshot, please.
