frozen PDF doc with grey and black rectangles over it

What is going on with my Adobe PDF document? I cannot access it or get those rectangles to go away. I can't close it. I'm simply stuck!

Is this a new issue, or is this hapenning after an upgrade/update?

Is this an issue on all your documents?

Try to zoom in-zoom out or open the file on a different computer in case it is your graphics engine having difficulties.
