Fully paid up License to Acrobat Reader Standard DC no longer working

I bought a fully paid up copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard DC V.12, registered 8/28/15.  It now no longer works fully and says I need to pay a monthly fee.  This is not what I bought and need to figure out how to get full access again.

I have a fully paid license to Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.  Still in orignal disk case.  It doesn't work.  I "REFUSE" to use a cloud based product.  What is my option?

uninstall all reader and acrobat versions after securing your serial number.

if windows os, clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

restart your computer

reinstall acrobat dc std using the installation file and your serial number.
