Hi

After I updated to Acrobat Pro Version 2023.006.20320 the dialog box "Get started" apperes everytime I open the program. Thats very annoing so can you help me to remove that?

I found that by disabling new Acrobat the pop up went away and as a bonus they give you a form to tell them why you left.

• To disable the new experience,
  • Windows: Click the hamburger menu ( 3 lines ) at the upper left corner and choose Disable new Acrobat.
  • macOS: Go to View > Disable new Acrobat.
• To reenable the new experience, go to View > Enable new Acrobat and click Restart.

In addition to telling them why I turned of the new experiance, I shared a quick calculation I did that shows if everyone loses 1 minute each time the reported 300 billion pdfs are opened world wide anually, becasue of them moving things around with no obvious advateage, the acrobat users around the world will lose more than 570K years of productivity... I have lost more than an hour or two so far tracking down and solving this issue.  I really dont understand why they did this... its not making users happy or more productive and it wont help them sell more subscriptions so no ROI that I can see and honestly Adobe seems to be all about making money. Further if that effort had been put into parts of acrobat that need improvment like performance, opening stupidly large files and converting formats, espeically converting pdf tables to Excel then everyone would be praising them and it would be a good return on the investment.. both thiers and ours.

Thank you som much, now everything is back to "normal". I agree, that also took me a few houres of trouble and frustration.

Thank you. This is incredibly annoying. If this is the "New Acrobat" then Adobe is going to quickly be the most hated App around.

Hi @tomas lunds5995870  could you pls share the screenshot of the "Get Started" dialog once? Is it a full dialog box or a horizontal strip on the top of pdf?
Isn't it going away once you click on "Get Started".

This is what I am getting after every file close and application startup up. I would assume it is the same as Tomas. It is a full blocking dialoge that must be closed.
