Why is this grey X appearing on all my older PDF documents?

I am unable to open (or open with) any of these documents.  I click and nothing happens.  Help!  I need access to these documents

Try this:

  • start/open Adobe Acrobat
  • use the menu File > Open...

Are those files connected to Dropbox?

Is your HDD getting out of space?

Try copy them somwhere else (Don't move them, copy them).
