I have a Topaz LK462 and have installed all the supporting software drivers and adobe Plug-in.
Problem is, I did all the recommended settings but when I go to Tools/Certificates the Digitaly Sign
selection is greyed out?
Whats going on.

Hi,
What are all the recommended settings that you are referring to?
Do you mind sharing which guide did you use?
Please also state in which operating system are you on and which Adobe software are you using exaclty ( i.e. Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Reader)?

I cannot remember the webpage, but it was off the topaz site.
The steps were Edit preferences, signatures then create and preferences and set the signature to the topaz gemsignplus software
Then edit preferences Signature then Verification and Set that to Topaz gemsignplus
Then under advance Security unselect Enable protected mode on startup.
Using Windows 11 and Adobe Reader DC ... the free version.
I work for a Non-Profit that does VA Forms for Vets, so do we need to register for the annual to allow this

Hi,
What happens if you enable "Protected Mode at startup" and select "Protected View" to "Off"?

So our group decided to register because we need the shrink feature anyway and the ability to edit PDFs and I was able to get the digitally sign ability. However it now gives me a warning popup saying I am using a deprecated SHA1 algorithm I click ok and it resets back and wont let me sign at all.
I also tried the prepare document route and it says the same thing.
Not sure where to go now.

I'm having this same issue. Were you able to resolve this?

What does Topaz say about this?

I followed all of the directions from Topaz but when I make a signature box it gives me a warning popup saying I am using a deprecated SHA1 algorithm I click ok and it resets back and won't let me sign at all.
I've tried 100 times, I've tried reinstalling everything and it is the same thing every single time. It just resets after the SHA1 popup and I'm back to square one.
Has anyone experienced this and have a solution?

If this is still an issue for you, the solution is to click on the checkbox to not show the message again. Sounds strange, but that is the fix.

I finally got it working, however, I had a new problem and adobe could never work it out. When the Main office I sent a form to recieved it, they could not see the signature on the document. We never could figure out why, thus my topaz pad sits in my storage cabinet never to be used.
Im a voluteer for the Disabled American Vets and do VA forms for veterans claims. The Main DAV office couldnt see them.
It was a shame too, made my life easier.

What did you do to fix this? I'm an admin running into the same issue. The Topaz pad will work when we test it using the Topaz software, but in Adobe we never get a pop up to sign. Everything appears to be set correctly.

We still have the exact same issue M36403248jcaq notes. Any solutions to this would be very helpful. We've tried with 32 and 64 bit installs of Acrobat and Topaz to no avail. I am wondering if it's an issue with Win11. Has anyone gotten the window pop up to work with Win11?

Found a work around for the signature not showing. I have to print the form to Microsoft PDF then I can use the signer app to add signature and the people at the main office see it.
Beats me.

Does anyone have a solution for this? I have several users that are struggling with the exact issue M36403248jcaq and Brian are experiencing.

I got with Topaz support and was able to fix my issue by downloading a different SigPlus install file. On the topaz site, I was only able to find the SigPlus file, but the file you need is named SigPlus64. The one support sent me was from this link: https://www.topazsystems.com/software/sigplus64_44157.exe.
After I uninstalled the SigPlus on my system and installed that one, my signature finally worked.

The signature capture window would not launch for me when attempting to sign in Adobe. The link to the 64bit download fixed my issue. Thank you so much for posting!
