Having problem installing upgrade Acrobat Pro

I had an early version of Acrobat Pro 10 and recently purchased an upgrade due to a hard drive crash. I've restructured a new drive but could not re install Acrobat 10 (no record of a serial number and no record on Adobe). I cannot install an upgrade as it cannot find the previous version (Acrobat 10) on the new drive.

What can I do? I'd appreciate any ideas. Thanks,

Martin

you need your serial number.  there are 3 general ways to find it:

you can check your account (if you purchased from or registered with adobe), https://accounts.adobe.com

or if your adobe program is installed on another computer you can recover its serial number from that computer, (win:) http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html, (mac:)  https://mac-product-key-finder.com/

otherwise, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html
