Hide the Left Side Tool Bar

HOw do I hide the tool bar in the new version of Adobe 23.001.20143.0.

I have already tried Edit > Preferences > Documents, and then select Remember current state of Tools pane. Open a PDF document in Reader, and then collapse the Tools pane. Click OK.

THIS DOES NOT WORK! PLEASE HELP!

Any luck with this? I am trying to find a solution and there is no help for the left side bar...

Under Menu select Disable new Acrobat

I did this to revert back to the old version. Only real fix...

Remember, the current state of Toolpane is a Reader's preference. With Modern Viewer, this setting is currently not functional.

This has already been highlighted to our engineering team, who are currently working on the fix.

Meanwhile, you can continue using the classic view. That can be enabled from Acrobat>Menu>disable New Acrobat Reader.
