Hiding Toolbars, Vertical Toolbars

I can't be the only one who uses a laptop or tablet that is far wider than it is vertical. As such I try to maximize my document height and put toolbars on the sides of the screen where I have plenty of real estate. But I can't do a couple of things with Acrobat Pro or at least I can't figure out how to do so, such as just having one toolbar which I can easily arrange what I want and where, especially vertically like it appear on the right side panel.

1) If I use F8 I get rid of all the toolbars and maximizes the height of the document. But I also loose all the toolbars, including the floating palette for editing.

2) I don't need all those toolbars at the top. Is there a reason I can't assign them as one of the tabs on the left navgiation or assign them to the right side panel? Or better yet, one button or keypress toggling them on and off, even a menu selection to get the entire top or second toolbar active/inactive?

3) I have a floating toolbar for editing documents. Is there a way I can arrange the icons vertically? I can create a custom right panel set of tools but I still can't remove the toolbars at the top.
