I am picking out specific landmarks on a map that I circle with a color, and then highlight the name of that landmark in the map key with the same color as the circle. However, the circles I use to focus on the landmarks print in color, but the highlighted text prints highlighted but the color is black and white, NOT the color of the highlight that appears on my screen.

As you can see from the circled landmarks and the logo above, color is printing on this document, however for some reason the highlight is only printing in black and white. I did turn the PDF grayscale using an online PDF grayscale converter, but I don't understand why the circles I created and placed in Acrobat will print in color yet the highlights I created and placed in Acrobat only print in black and white.
I have Documents and Markups selected in the Comments & Forms portion of the print dialog box. I also went into the comment settings to print all comments, but still the highlights do not have color when printed. Print in grayscale (black and white) is NOT checked.
Any help would be appreciated.
