Highlighting images inside PDF

++ Adding on to the expert's suggestion. 

I have a bunch of differnet PDF's from all different kinds of sources. Some of the pdf's with embedded images let me highlight them and some don't.

File which does not let you highlight them probably are scanned files. So it would be best to run OCR to make their text recognizable.
