I have a simple PDF with a graphic and mouse clicks to other areas of the image ... how can I remove / defeat / hide the two navigation elements (toolbars) shown in red, in my example?

Thank you!

This is not an Acrobat Pro window. What app is being used? Or if you are using an Adobe API, which one?

It's a Google Chrome browser window, Version 99.0.4844.51 (Official Build) (64-bit). These are the only extensions running according to the managed browser (per the firm). Thank you.

If they have Acrobat installed (not sure Reader will include this), is this extension available to be enabled?  It's Adobe's, and therefore naturally more PDF-savvy than others.

Thanks.  It's a managed browser, no control over that.  No options when saving the PDF?  Is there anything else I can do, re more PDF Interactive switches?

If it's a managed browser, I wouldn't think a user could change how different file types are handled, unfortunately.  but someone may chime in with more encouraging thoughts!

I wonder: if @ViaSandee set this in the PDF's settings File/Properties, would the browser repect it?

  • Open the PDF in Acrobat Pro.
  • File / Properties.
  • Initial View tab.
  • Check: Hide menu bar, tools bars, and window controls.
  • Save the PDF and view it in the Chrome browser.

I'd be happy if I was able to hide the page and zoom tools on the bottom ... 😞

I DID IT!  It's a popup box from the landing page ... works! Seems simple now!  TNX
