I have i .pdf with ~200 pages. And i noticed that acrobat redownload them every time i scroll up and down, and it's a bit too long to wait for it.

So if there is any way to make it keep whole pdf in memory i would greatly appreciate th hint.

Correct answer Test Screen Name

You cannot make Acrobat do that. It must keep the connection if it is loading from the web. You need to make a local copy and load that.

1. It is normal to keep the file open, so if you take the drive away, you can always expect it to fail. The file is downloaded in parts, this does not mean it is downloaded again and again.

2. What you describe means the file is being shown on the screen over and over. This sounds normal. Some files are complicated and slow for everyone. Is it quicker to go BACK TO A PAGE if you have the file saved to your local disk?

The problem is - that i need that file in net.

And there is only 1 stream for my internet drive. So whenever i keep this file idle for a while, and for example, i try to copy some files from pc to Internet drive and look into pdf - it doesn't show me anything.

So i want to find a way to make acrobat load it at once and keep it, so it won't need connection.

If it's possible ofc.

What makes you say that Acrobar redownloads it? Is there any message?

It makes pages white, and load it part by part again.

Also when i open it from internet drive and disconnect it, it won't reopen them anymore

Try this: Go to Edit - Preferences - Internet and tick off the "Allow fast web view" box. Not sure if that's the issue, though...
