Hello, I'm trying to use Acrobat DC to extract a text in albanian using OCR, but the language is not listed. Is there a way to add the dictionary (the result otherwise is unreadable). Thank you.

i Imagine adding a new language costs Adobe hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in development costs.

Hi, this is Cristian.

I'd like to know please if adding additional languages is still not possible. Any updates from the last time this topic was addressed?

My organization is interested in having 3 or 4 more languages added, what would be the actual chances of having this possible?

Regards

Unless you are willing to potentially wait forever for this to happen (see TSN's post for a potential explanation as to why that might be), you may want to look into a dedicated OCR application that already supports the languages you are interested in. For more challenging OCR jobs that Acrobat cannot handle, I use Abbyy's FineReader (no connection, I am just a happy customer). There are other standalone OCR application that will very likely do what you need.
