How do I batch print multiple files in a specified order?

My version:  Acrobat Pro DC

Combining the files into one PDF is rarely an option because sometimes there are hundreds of files that are quite large. Is this the only way?

These files must be in order because they are exhibits for a trial, to be loaded into binders with tabs.

The printer I'm using is the Canon 8285 imagerunner Advance.

I need to trust that it prints the documents in sequential order, regardless of what they're titled.

Is there a setting or an app that I need to accomplish this?

Thanks,

I need some assistance -

I have adobe 9. I'd like to batch print in sequence. Is Acrobat Extended Pro the solution to this issue?

Thankyou

Is it batch printing or the printing in sequence you are having problems with? If it’s the latter, then a different version of Acrobat will not help: there are too many components where the print order can be screwed up. In theory, your printer should be able to print the documents in the order in which Acrobat queues them to the operating system.  But in practice, the spoiling system on the OS level and potentially on the printer can interfere with that.
