How do I cut & paste multiple text boxes at the same time?

Community Beginner ,

For work, I fill out the same form multiple times a day. Much of the information is the same on each form, so I am looking for a way to cut and paste multiple, consecutive fields at the same time. I can do one at a time, but that is tedious and time comsuming.

Hi Joe,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Yes, you can export the file data from one PDF form and create an FDF or XML file. Then use that file to import data on another PDF form with the same form fields.

You may refer to the steps provided for Import form data and Export file data under Manage form data files in the following help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/collecting-pdf-form-data.html.

Hope it helps.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Hi Joe,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you are trying to paste information on form fields on multiple pages of the PDF, you may keep the same name for those form fields. Then it will automatically reflect on other pages of the PDF.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to cut the information filled in multiple form fields and paste it into another form? Please elaborate on your question.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

Meenakshi, thank you for responding. I took a screen shot of part of the form I am filling out. The information is all on the same page, but it is in several separate fields. I need to copy all this information from one form and then paste it into the same fields of another copy of the same form. Does that help?
