How do I get rid of the vertical side bar where 'comment' and 'fill and sign' are shown, so I don't have to click the arrow to hide, everytime I click on a new page of a pdf document?

Hi Emilyg,

As per the description above, you want to hide the Right-hand pane in Acrobat?reader, is that correct?

To permanently hide the Right-hand Pane in Acrobat Reader DC or Acrobat, do the following Go to Edit > Preferences > Documents, and then select Remember the current state of Tools pane.

You may also refer to the following KB doc:  Permanently close the Tools pane in Acrobat Reader DC

You can also refer to How do I stop the side toolbar from appearing every time I open a pdf in Acrobat DC? Link:https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1810236

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
