how do I install adobe acrobat 10 pro on my new computer?

I purchased adobe acrobat pro in June 2011 and have a license.  I have installed it on 3 of my computers over the years as they have failed with no problems and updated to the windows version 10 on my last computer.  I have a new computer, a dell pc, and have been trying to find my version of Adobe Acrobat 10 Pro on the adobe website with no luck.  It keeps trying to download the DC version and won't accept my license #.  I've tried to contact help via phone and chat from Adobe and been timed out twice on the chat as I was typing with the only answer, go on the forums.  Can anyone help me?  I'm 72 years old and not a tech person.  I tried to talk with someone on the help phone # and they said I needed to contact via chat, and chat didn't answer my question at all........HELP!

if you have a current os, it's not compatible with acrobat x and not secure.

that said, you may be able to use some or many of its features if you install using compatibility mode and

1. uninstall all acrobat and all reader versions

2. clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

3. restart your computer

4 install your acrobat version.

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
