Question

How do I only view 1 single PDF page instead of all the pages with hyperlinks

Hi,

I want to create a single interactive pdf page. So far I have got 11 pages, each page is a new clickable section. i.e on the home page if you click the box 'about us' It will take you to a new page (basically a duplicate of the first page with the 'about us' information on screen as well). But when I save it, it shows all 11 pages instead of just 1 interactive page. How can I fix this???

If I read you right, you want to separate a page from a document, yet keep
the page in the document. Simply open the Bookmarks tab and then open
Thumbnails and then click on Options and then Extract. All links go with it
and to eliminate them is a different, easy matter. Just save-as for the one
page document. Hope this helped

Hi,

how did you create the pdf? using which software?

You could consider using layers on a single page. So when you click on a link the current layer disapear and the correct one appears.

Hey Eric!

So I am very new to all of this and actually created a PPT with 11 slides which all hyperlinked to eachother (hence my issue above). Since this morning and realising I had done it all wrong I started a creative cloud free trial. So, I have now created an indesign file where instead of 11 pages I now have 11 layers on a single page. I have googled and googled and am struggling with the next step -- how do I create hyperlinks between the layers (and also get it to hide other layers and only show the one that the hyperlink links to?). I hope this makes sense and sorry for the hassle
