How do I permanently delete cropped sections in Adobe Acrobat DC?

In Acrobat Pro 11, the process of optical character recognition permanently removes all cropped areas of the PDF pages. (The regular cropping tool only hides cropped areas, but it does not permanently remove that area--and in the process--reduce the file size.)

How is this done in Adobe Acrobat DC? I have spent several work days trying to figure this out. I have tried every "tool" I can think of under the "Tools" toolbar. (One YouTube video says to use the "print" command and print as a PDF. It permanently cropped, but the file size increased fourfold, so that is not a good option.)

Note: I do not want to "optimize" as that often reduces the quality of text and images. I just want to permanently remove hidden (cropped) sections.

Note: I am told I have the DC version, but the top of my window bar says "Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit).

I found the same aggravation with DC's not deleting hidden information.

But this works: File > Export > PostScript, then File > Create > PDF from File, and choose the Postscript file.

Refrying a PDF is not a good practice, especially for printing purposes.

You will find this feature in the Preflight tool:
