How do I remove the Summary and Compare Results pages created from COMPARE FILES?

I'm using Acrobat Pro DC Ver 2021.007.

After performing COMPARE FILES a Sumamry page is generated at the start of the old file and a Compare Resutls page is generated at the start of the new file. Both are visibile in Side-by-Side viewimg. I want to remove both of these added pages in the saved compare PDF. One reason to remove them is that they are incorrect becuase I will remove some of the items that Acrobat mistakenly identified as a change. To attempt this I

- CLOSE the Compare Files view

- open ORGANIZE PAGES view

- delete the Compare Results page of the start of the New document

I cannot find a way to delete the Summary page of the Old document becuase this is not visible in Organize Pages and editing does not appear possible in Compare Files view. How can I remove the Summary page from the Old file?

Thanks.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described you do not want to see the summary and compare results page after comparing the PDFs.

You can filter comparison results by selecting specific types of changes in the Filter menu. From the Show menu, you can select an option to show or hide legends, row highlights, or results.

Thanks for your reply Amal but neither the options that you provided nor actions on the Help Page remove the summary pages. Show Summary is disabled if you are on the Summary page and only serves as a link to jump the Summary page if you are elsewhere in the document. Attached is a screenshot of the Summary page with Show Summary disabled. If your solution(s) work then could you please provide screenshots of your actions showing the Summary page present and then removed? This way I have proof that your solutions work and I can contact technical support to find out why I cannot do them.

Acrobat doesn't adds the Summary page to the Old document and the Compare Resutls page to the new document!

I appreciate the enthusiasm with your exclamation point thinking that you are eductating me, but it does WITHIN the compared PDF created as shown in my previously attached screenshots, not in each original individual file. As shown in blue below, the left is the old file and the right is the new file and the summary pages are added before each incorporated file. These summary pages are what i want removed.

What you see is the compare Report. It doesn't change the old and new file.

Obviously. I stated that at ther very beginning if you took the time to read my request. It adds the pages to the beginning of the old and new file "in the comparison". May I request that you simply answer my question of can these be removed instead of getting into semantics when I have provided clear examples of what I'm trying to resolve?

Same problem here, I modified the compare file thinking it was a normal file, but then i have to do it all over again because  the comparison creates a weird Frankenstein file your cannot bring back to being a normal file. Not shure this is really usefull...

I have proposed a solution to this issue on Acrobat uservoice:

If you are interested in this solution, please vote for my idea.
