How do I set Acrobat to print to the default printer?

When trying to print a PDF, Acrobat is stuck on OneNote (not the default printer).  You can select the default printer but when you move away it switches back to OneNote. This happens in Reader and Pro but any other program like Word it works correctly.

Acrobat uses the default printer and settings, when started. All subsequent prints use the printer and settings as set with the prints before as a default. When you exit Acobat and open it again, the settings will be reverted to the default.

That's the way it's supposed to work but it DOES NOT work that way in Monterey 12.0.1!!!!!!!!

Lots of users have this problem.  See other threads such as:
