There is a document I am editing and can't turn off the "bold" option in the format box.
The text I am editing is not bold and it is a font that is included in Acrobat.
I have tried changing fonts and even "adding text" and text still comes out "bold".
Maybe it's something dumb but I need to get this document done.

I figured it out! Open the document in the online version of Adobe and you can switch it to regular rather than extra bold! Don't open the App to do your editing, use the online version!

THANKS FOR THIS! It worked, but I had to then convert the uploaded document to Word, find the regular version of the font, change it and then download it as a pdf.

In the document I had to edit there were different text boxes, regular and bold. I tried to change a bold one into regular but I couldn't change it becasue I didn't have the regular version on my laptop. Try installing the missing font or by using an app, I personally use FontBase and I enable the fonts I need.
