How do you edit an accessible PDF without losing the accessibility of the PDF?

We remediate a PDF but then need to edit it or export a single page from the PDF. These actions seem to break the accessibility in the exported page and the original PDF. Is there a way to make these edits without have to remediate the document again?

No. What if your edits contradict the accessibility standard the document is supposed to adhere to?
