Question

How do you get rid of all this freaking bloatware?

I only have, and use, Adobe Acrobat DC. I have no need for Creative Cloud, nor do I need shared resources for other apps that are not installed. I did not realize that by installing Adobe Acrobat DC, I was essentially giving ownership of my computer to Adobe. I know you may say, "Oh, they don't use that many resources." I frankly don't care. I feel like anyone who doesn't work for Adobe and claims to know what these background processes are doing, besides spying on my computer activities so it can be sold to data brokers, is lying.

How do I do a clean install of Adobe Acrobat without installing Creative Cloud and all these background processes? I can update the software manually.

If i uninstall Creative Cloud, will it leave Adobe Acrobat behind?

Sorry for my tone, I am just so incredibly tired of companies installing spyware on our computers and acting like its necessary for their software to function.

Thanks

@Garbageware your best bet is to use the Adobe Cleaner Tool, a utility provided by Adobe Systems that helps remove all traces of Adobe products from your computer. The tool will removes any leftover files, folders, and registry entries associated with Acrobat, ensuring a fresh start (essentially, the tool effectively removes all traces of Acrobat, including hidden files and registry entries)
