Question

How to add menu items to a drop down option in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

I'm creating a PDF that has options for customers to choose from. I have used the drop down menu option to add the titles of 3 separate menu options. I now want to add menu ITEMS to each menu that will link to the menu automatically. For example, if the user chose "menu one" from the drop down menu, I'd like a list to appear that is associated with THAT SPECIFIC Menu. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Please let me know the best way to do this! Thank you!!!

Where do you want this sub-list to appear? In the same drop-down field, or in another one?

The former is not very common and might confuse the users. The latter is more common. Both will require a custom-made script.

I've developed a tool that allows you to easily set up the latter, with one (or more) "dependent" drop-downs: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Create Dependent Dropdowns

Hi Amy: you posted your question in the non-technical Lounge forum, I'm going to move it over to PDF Forms so that you will get an answer to your question.
