How To Completely Merge Text/Signature Into A PDF?

I editted a PDF using Edit/Text.  How do I merge what I added so it is fully part of the PDF?

 

For example:

1. Open the PDF with Adobe

2. Click on Edit/Text

3. Click on where I want to add text

4. Type a line

5. Save the document

 

Now if I open the document with Adobe and click on the line of text the box appears around it

indicated that it was not part of the original document.

 

How do I fully merge the line I added so it is fully part of the document?

It is part of the document. There's no need to "merge" it or anything like that. It's just picked up by the application as its own "item" on the page, but there's nothing you can do about that.
