I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and want to create a PDF/X-3. However, i can only create various PDF/X-1a and PDF/X-4. Does anyone know how to create a PDF/X-3?

HI,
(on the latest Acrobat DC version)
- With your document open
- Select File -> Save As Other -> Press-Ready PDF ( PDF/X)
- Then Select "Settings" in the dialog that appears
- The option should then be shown
Regards
Malcolm

Where do you see these choices (and not the choice you want?)

Malcolm,
None of those options are simple pdfx-1a:2001. Ingram has rejected every pdf saved in any of those formats and then on a different day accepted all of them. When I specifically asked which one (gracol, fogra, japan) they just said 1a:2001. So which of the three options are you using? I was leaning toward the gracol, but that's 2006. But it is grayscale and the website says 2001 grayscale.
Thanks
Tracy
