Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to create a U3D file so that i can import the file into a PDF in Adobe acrobat.

Currently I use Soildworks and Keyshot to create 3D models, but both these applications do not support exporting to U3D. I know soildworks did up until 2015. Is there any plugin's that can be used with either Keyshot or Solidworks to export to U3D. I would like to reframe from using any other modelling software as I have alot of models set up in my current applications.

Thanks in advance,

Amy

You should prefer the PRC format, which is an ISO Standard.

Hey JR,

Thanks for replying.

I have also read up on this and it seems that both applications (Solidworks & Keyshot) do not export to PRC. So i guess i have the same question for a PRC file too.

Thanks,
Amy
