How to Delete Attachments from a PDF

Contributor ,
Feb 12, 2025 Feb 12, 2025

I received a PDF that was saved from an Outlook email that has large attachments in it. How do I delete them from the PDF. I don't want the attachments in the PDF, just the text from the email.

Acrobat Pro 24.5.20400.0

Mac Sonoma 14.7.2

Thank you

Thank you so much Nesa, I couldn't find any documentation that demonstrates the procedure.

Another option is to save as an optimized pdf, selecting the option to discard file attachments (File> Save as other> Optimized pdf). This is not a more efficient method, unless you are already optimizing the pdf for some other reason.
