How to deskew

I just signed up for Adobe Standard on my cloud subscription tonight.  I'm doing a project to convert sheet music into digital format for playing on my iPad. The scans looking pretty good in general but some of the pages are on an angle and I'd like to deskew them.  Before making the purchase I read that Acrobat does deskewing but no matter what settings I try, no pages are corrected. According to the documentation I can find, deskewing should occur when I select the "enhance" option for scans shouldn't it? Or, am I missing another location to do this?   I have tried turning the "Recognize text" on and off, and I have tried every quality setting.

Sorry for the issue you are facing. Can  you please share following details to help us identify and resolve the issue ASAP:

- Acrobat version you are using.

- 1 sample document where it wasn't deskewed

Please make sure 'Recognize text(OCR)' and 'Optimization' checkboxes are On.

As mentioned in my post, I just bought the subscription so presumably the download is the latest but here you go: 2015.023.20053

I don't feel comfortable uploading the content to the internet as their are copyright restrictions on it. I have tried the Adobe software on a dozen music books and it never deskews anything so I don't think there is any specific about that first document I tried. Unless the page hits the scanner completely square, Adobe leaves it on an angle. I ended up finding another PDF editor that deskews nicely so have gone with that.

Can you please try following steps:

Did you try -->1. Enhance scans> Enhance> Scanned Document> Enhance

or 2. Enhance scans> Recognize Text> In this file> Settings(select searchable Image)> Recognize Text

Acrobat runs deskew for an image up to some extent. If the page is tilted very large then it won't work. Hope it will resolve your issue.

Please try 1 more thing, scan a document(any common sharable document) at similar angle, you are facing this issue. Now run deskew steps and if it doesn't work, please share this document.
