How to discover by which method a given Reader extended file received the extension of rights: by LiveCycle Reader Extensions or by Acrobat? I see some files have Signing Authority "ARE Acrobat Product v8.0 P23 0002337." Does this mean that the Reader Extensions were received by Acrobat, but not by LiveCycle Reader Extensions?

That has been my experience. If the signing authority includes the string "Acrobat", the document was Reader-enabled with Acrobat.

Yes. If Reader Extensions is used, it will say something like "ARE Production v6.1 P16 ID9416"

Is it possible to detect whether the file was reader enabled by Acrobat DC or by earlier version?
