How to get rid of the gray box beside my cursor?

Amal, an Adobe Employee has been answering that this is a feature of Select Tool of Adobe Pro/Reader. Anyone has a better answer than that?

Issue is, there's this annoying gray box beside my cursor. Whenever I try check other computers, some does some doesn't. If you ask the version I have, I have the most updated one freshly downloaded from the website. Anyone can help?

There isn't much that we can do, as the grey box is the part of the select tool cursor icon. You may share your feedback with the engineering team using the link https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

If you close Acrobat, the small square box will go away.

I have tried everything suggested and hidden the tool screen. The grey box bars me from opening anything and I can't print. I've tried CtrlP to get around it but that didn't work. I can't select Edit or any of the Menu options with this box in situ. I am finding this very frustrating.

@DeeDee1957 I honestly didn't even noticed that until you pointed that out! I am so used it to it I guess!
