How to install and use both adobe acrobat and adobe reader

I'm running the full suite of adobe tools on fully updated windows 10.

I have not really understood how to access either the Pro acrobat or the reader as required.

When I access "properties" by right click on a *.pdf There is only one option shown to open it with.  "Adobe Acrobat"

If I hit the "change" button to the right of it.  Even when asking for  "more apps" in the dialog, the only option that appears is "Adobe Acrobat".

Accessing C:\Program Files\adobe\Acrobat dc and looking thru those directories I don't recognize anything that looks like it might start the acrobat reader without all the other tools acrobat DC has.

When I list out everthing that is installed on this host.  There is only one entry about acrobat or reader "Adobe Acrobat (64 bit)".

My google search hits all seem to revolve around the Properties > and the "change" button described above.  Which does not work for me.

Should there be something for adobe reader?

So cutting to the chase: Can anyone explain how to go about accessing just the Adobe reader?

Adobe have removed the choice. You now get Reader if you didn't pay and Acrobat if you did.
