Acrobat updated and i prefer working with the older version i had.
In Adobe Creative Cloud i have the option to install 'Other versions' for all other apps except Adobe Acrobat.
Can anyone explain to me if and how i can install older versions of Adobe Acrobat?

Nevermind. Found the solution:
Menu > Disable new Acrobat
Apparently this was some forced update.

YOU LITERALLY HAVE MADE MY YEAR!!!!! I was tearing my hair out with this new version and the inability to roll back to an earlier version that actually WORKS!!! So many menu options removed or renamed and no way to find them - seriously Adobe - the new version SUCKS.

Gosh, this was so helpful. The new forced update on Pro was a nightmare to work with. Terribly slow and I couldn't print either. Thanks!

A lifesaver! I'd been installing old versions as a workaround.
At least Adobe had the wisdom to do a survey on why users didn't like the new version- didn't like it/ couldn't complete work/ felt more comfortable with old version/ other- and youi only get to choose one.
However if you choose "Other," you can write All of the above ; )

OMG. Thank you. The new Acrobat is a NIGHTMARE. Slow AF and ungainly. UGH! Please don't make this program unsable, Adobe!

My HERO! I litterally wasted the entire day fighting issues with pdfs. So started looking to see if I can roll back and found this post. So glad to be back "home" in my classic Pro 2020 style. THANK YOU!
Stop breaking things that just work Adobe! Please and thank you.

How to actually roll back versions? (I understand the GUI issue and how to get rid of that, not a problem.) If I wanted to actually roll back because of an issue, the option doesn't exist in the Creative Cloud management app as pictured on the original post.

I just opened a topic with the same question! Adobe indeed makes it impossible to go back to a previous version while it is possible with other applications! It's not that I don't want to use the new version but my other applications don't work optimally with version 25!

Hello!
I hope you are doing well, and we apologise for the delayed response and trouble.
Could you please share more details about the issue you are experiencing with the latest version of Acrobat 25.001.20458 Planned update, Apr 15, 2025. Are you having trouble using the app in general, or is it a specific tool that you can't access?
We're here to help, just need more info.
Thanks,
Anand Sri.
